Ahead of the Sixers WBBL Pride Party on November 7, the Sydney Sixers have organised an education workshop focusing on LGBT+ inclusion for Premier Cricket Clubs, and provides hints & tops to become an ‘Ally Club’. Join Proud2Play and Western Sydney Universities Dr Ryan Storr who will cover recent research on this topic.

Why? Research tells us that a high percentage of the LGBT+ community want to play organised sport, but don’t feel safe to do so within the current environment.
Who? This workshop is open to all: Presidents, Secretaries, committee members, coaches and players of CNSW Premier Cricket Club competitions.
What? Hear from Dr Ryan Storr on recent research on the LGBT+ inclusion, plus talk about Cricket Australia’s community & elite level policy, use of inclusion language, how to be an ally club, and Q&A session.
When? Wednesday November 4, 5:30-7pm leading into Sydney Sixers Vs Brisbane Heat at Blacktown International Sports Park (live stream).
